St Philomena's Catholic Primary School

Safeguarding

At St Philomena’s, safeguarding is central to our ethos. We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare, safety and wellbeing of all children and expect all members of our school community, including staff, volunteers and visitors, to share this commitment.

All staff receive regular safeguarding and child protection training and are expected to maintain professional curiosity, remain vigilant to signs that a child may be experiencing, or be at risk of, abuse, neglect or harm, and report any concerns immediately in accordance with the school’s safeguarding procedures.
